We asked Elder Gil Poitras to explain smudging to us and why it’s important. At Xyolhemeylh our Elders help us provide services that are culturally appropriate. They are our knowledge keepers and connection to tradition. Sadly, Gil passed away in 2023. We miss him dearly.
